AN 18TH CENTURY CHINESE BLANC DE CHINE PORCELAIN FIGURE OF A YOUNG GIRL Qing, modelled holding aloft a drum and standing over a Buddhistic lion. 18 cm x 8 cm. Note: Blanc de chine or White from China, is the name given to porcelains made in Dehua, a town in the Fujian province along China's southeast coast. Historically, Dehua potters created a range of white wares, from scholars objects to items for everyday use.
