A circa 1938 Michael Cardew slipware pottery jug decorated in brown running glazes with abstract cream glazed overlay to the top half of the body, impressed marks to side of base, approx. 25cm high, a similar example can be found at the V&A museum no. 318-1938
Minor chips to rim and some losses to the cream overlay, otherwise good condition
