A RARE CHARLES I BRONZE WOOL WEIGHT, CIRCA 1630. Of typical shield-shape, pierced for suspension and cast with the crowned Royal Coat of Arms of England and Scotland, with lion and unicorn supporters, at least two crowned 'C' royal cipher marks, twice with the dagger mark for London, twice with the warden's Avoirdupois 'A', typical circular depression to rear, height 17cm, width 10.8cm Literature: For a very similar example see H.C.
