A mid 19th century French cavalry trooper's brass helmet, edge binding to front and back peaks, fur turban, comb with ornamental panelled sides, Medusa head finial and grenade in front, die struck ear roundels and graduated wire "S" link chinchain, black "shaving brush" plume in socket to the front, falling black hair plume at the back and 10" red/white feather plume in socket on left side, leather binding.
