Obverse: fourth larger bust, laureate and draped, with 'CAROLVS · II · DEI · GRATIA' around. Reverse: crowned cruciform shields of royal arms around a central garter star with interlinked 'C's in the angles, 'MAG · BR · FRA · ET · HIB REX · 1682' around, no apparent 2 over 1 overdate. Edge: '· + DECVS · ET · TVTAMEN · ANNO · · · REGNI · TRICESIMO · QVRRTO + ·' [sic] in raised lettering with 'QVARTO' misspelt. Weight: 29.10g. Diameter: 39mm. Grade: VG/nF - light tone, possibly cleaned, obverse bust bold with legends weak and the background grainy, Very Good/near Fine.
