Pair of late George III old Sheffield plated candlesticks, circa 1800 (loaded), height 28.5cm
There is bleeding throughout the candlesticks, both on the uprights and the extremities of the base. The weights within the base are bulging slightly, meaning that the sticks won't slit absolutely flat. The columns are a little loose within the base but they're sitting quite vertical. Myriad of tiny pinprick dents throughout the sticks, but no unsightly knocks or bends.
