CEYLON/SRI LANKA: Late 19th century photograph album containing 14 larger size photographs (255 x 220 mm approx). 25 smaller size (140 x 100 mm approx) many of these are portraits are of indigenous Tamils, coolies, etc. The larger size features an outstanding photograph of the Candy to Colombo line showing an engine making it's way through the mountains. Album worn with board detached. Photographs are in good condition; at the rear are photographs of other places such as Cornwall, Rome etc.
