A unique piece of submarine history, "U-Boats Westward!" by Ernst Hashagen. Published by Putnam, 1931. Signed by Ernst Hashagen, Captain of U-Boat U62 with personal dedication to the Captain of HMS E11. HMS E11 was one of the most successful submarines during the Dardanelles Campaign and was commanded by Lieutenant-Commander Martin Nasmith, (to whom the inscription is written), and who was awarded the Victoria Cross for his actions.
