A 19th century Chinese black ground en-grisaille porcelain snuff bottle of high shouldered cylindrical from, with gilded rim and painted with a narrative scene (Romance of the three Kingdoms) with Huang Chengyan riding his donkey and his attendant holding a branch of prunus in a mountainous landscape setting, missing stopper and spoon, the base with four-character Ming seal mark but Qing dynasty, 8 cm high
