WW2 Warden's MKII Steel Helmet


khaki green painted crown and brim.  The front with white stencilled "W".  Inner brim stamped "JSS 1939".  Black treated linen liner.  The frame dated 1939.  1st pattern, oval, rubber crown pad.  Sprung webbing chinstrap.  Some external rusting.
