Leroy & Fils, Paris a quarter repeating 9ct gold pocket watch the movement having a compensating balance to the lever escapement and repeating the hour and quarter on two gongs via the plunger to the top, the case marked for grade 3 gold, Paris,1819-1838 with the back having engine-turned decoration, the inner cuvee engraved Leroy & Fils, Hgers du Roi à Paris No. 14206, the silvered dial with off-set chapter ring having black Roman numerals and blued-steel Breguet moon hands, and signed above XII o'clock Leroy, diameter 45mm, total weight of watch ca. 55.05gms, with gold chain and Breguet-style winding key, total weight of chain and key ca. 3.56gms.
