A worksplate, YORKSHIRE ENGINE CO, 1823, 1922, from a standard gauge 0-6-0ST with outside cylinders delivered January 1923 to Wath Main Colliery Co Ltd, Wath-on-Dearne, Yorkshire. Named WATH MAIN No 5. Passed to the NCB with the colliery in January 1947 and later renumbered 14. Loaned to Manvers Colliery on occasion in the 1960s and finally scrapped on site at Wath in January 1970. Cast brass, 10¾"x6", the front cleaned but unpainted. (Postage Band: B)
