Quiller-Couch (Sir Arthur, 1863-1944). Am original two-sided manuscript letter, signed by Arthur Quiller-Couch, undated, to Canon H D Rawnsley (one of the founders of the National Trust), letter tells him he has been asked to edit an 'Oxford Book of Victorian Verse', and saying that he wished to include one of Rawnsley's sonnets, 11.5cm x 18cm approx., letter tipped-in onto card for display purposes. Quiller-Couch was a writer and professor of English at Cambridge University. He is known for "Book of English Verse 1250-1900".
