An 18th Century Pappenheim-hilt sword with Toledo blade. Mushroom shaped pommel, wire bound grip, triple guard with two plates finely pierced with heart shaped apertures. Single recurved quillon with knop shaped terminal. The tapering blade with short single fullers inscribed Francisco Ruiz and En Toledo. Measures approx 100cm.
