A cased 5 shot 54 bore Adams Model 1851 self cocking percussion revolver, barrel 6¾” engraved “Deane Adams & Deane, 30 King William St, London Bridge”; London proved; frame engraved with scrolls and “Adams Patent No 10627.R”, the cylinder similarly numbered; with chequered walnut butt and engraved steel butt cap. Good Working Order and Condition (reblued overall); in its green baize lined fitted oak case with maker’s trade label, containing copper flask (dented, spring missing), Adams marked double cavity mould (sprue cutter pitted), nipple key with pricker, cleaning rod, and key to case.
