A 19TH CENTURY CHINESE GREENISH WHITE JADE DRAGON PENDANT Qing, mounted in silver, formed with the beast amongst vines. 9.5 cm x 5.75 cm. Note: Jade objects originally begun as forms of spiritual connections or value but in later years, developed into symbols of authority and status. Throughout Neolithic Chinese culture, jade remained, however, saturated in purposeful iconography and symbolism.
