A GEORGIAN OAK, ROSEWOOD CROSSBANDED AND INLAID 8 DAY LONGCASE CLOCK, the stepped hood over turned pillars, flanking a glazed door, enclosing a brass and silvered 12 inch dial, with a twin chain bell striking movement, foliate spandrels, surrounding Roman and Arabic numerals, a signed to centre 'TIME Stayeth not', above a subsidiary date aperture, on a well decorated trunk, with a star motif to the door on bracket feet, height 218cm (condition:- ideal for restorations due to veneer faults and lifting, flaking to pillars, the dial and movement partially detached, dial handles loose and fixings appear damaged, missing back bracket feet) (two weights, pendulum, winding key)
