An 18th Century Thomas Fell, St Peters Pottery, Newcastle, Pearlware pierced basket circa 1820, the body decorated with a repeat scroll design with fruiting vines and matched detail to the handles, the interior well hand enamelled with a bird study, impressed FELL to the base, width 27cm.
There are a couple of small firing cracks to the body
