WW2 Japanese Officers Type 98 Shin-Guntō Sword. Leather combat scabbard (torn into two pieces). Nice markings on the Tang, maybe a family blade. Typical wavy Hamon (edge of the blade). Several chips on the blade - please see photos for conditions. It does not detract this from being a very nice collectors’ piece.
