A 1930s Gray-Stan glass vase of low shouldered form with tall collar neck, decorated with mottled tonal blue over opal and cased in clear, height 10cm, together with another vase of ovoid form with compressed flared rim all in tonal blue over opal and a test sample cover in tonal blue and clear, all by the same hand. (3)
Provenance – From the family collection of the late James Manning, senior glass blower and designer for Elizabeth Graydon Stannus of Gray-Stan Glass.
The sample cover has a crack running through the finial, the other items show signs of light surface wear commensurate with age, free from chips, cracks and repairs.
