A vintage German Westerwald blue glaze pottery lidded urn in the shape of a bearded gentleman. German inscription to front translates "Eat what is well cooked, drink what is clear, speak what is true, love what is rare". Damage to handle, shows signs of repair, chips to top rim. Approx. 33cm tall.
