In the manner of John McLean a Regency brass inlaid rosewood double scroll chaise longue, with spent back rail, striped sateen upholstery and horsehair squab and bolster en suite, supported by four short cluster column legs terminating in brass socket castors, 207 cm long x 64 cm deep x 89 cm overall height, 47 cm height to seat The rear rail has been secured and now is firm but shows the socketed and plugged evidence of the repair on the back .The base ,frame and legs are firm. One offset (back right hand side) castor has its carriage and wheel missing and the larger of the scroll ends has a crack that is moving slightly and is the site of an old repair that is now becoming loose, the brass marquetry seems intact but the odd area is lifting slightly. please see the extra images.
