Georgian style carved white statuary marble and verde antico chimneypiece / mantle piece with serpentine shelf top (sold unassembled and a/f) - Provenance: Ex. Hallrule Mansion House; Purchased 1996, possibly from Westland, London
This chimneypiece arrived with us un-assembled, so we cannot guarantee how well all the pieces fit together. The top rail has had multiple breaks restored, with some losses along the breaks. The mantle has yellowish discolouration spots. There is cement leftover along all the old joints. The black piece does not obviously fit in anywhere with the rest, and is likely associated.
