William IV period silver pair cased pocket watch, the white enamel dial with cathedral hands between single track minute markers and roman numerals, the case opening to reveal verge fusee movement engraved John. M. Sparkes of Exeter, case hallmarked for London 1821, max diameter 5.5cm.
The watch appears to be running, and has been observed ticking for an hour. There are some very fine hairlines to the face, and the case has some general wear and small dints to the top sections, the crystal is very worn and scratched. The loop bale is a possible later replacement.
