Early 19th century leatherbound journal filled with handwritten verses, copied from the likes of Bishop Heber, Sir Walter Scott, Spenser, Littleton, Felicia Hemans, Grahame, as well as an original verse titled 'Farewell' dated 1831. Inscribed to the front page 'Louisa, Ann, Sophia Harding. October III 1829', occasional pencil drawing, with loosely inserted letter. To the reverse, later pasted newspaper clippings in Italian and English being reviews of opera 'La Suocera' by F. M. Steward, dated 1877
