David Morrison (active1793-1850), a wax portrait of an unknown lady, in a bird's eye maple frame, 25 cm x 23 cm, together with a collection of other wax figures and 18th and 19th-century wax portraits in the style of Samuel Percy and wax models under glass domes. A private estate David Morrison was active between 1793 and 1850 and was a 'Miniature Modeller' and "Wax Portraitist" to the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Augusta in 1826.
