George IV silk & satin work sampler, worked by Lucy Walls, 1825. Sea & land shells, birds, trees, crowns, two poems, “Memento Mori”, flowers and a particularly fine worked harvest basket, all within a geometric border. 37 x 29cm. Contemporary frame.
Good condition, colours bright, in our opinion this is not stuck down, however we have not removed it from its frame so can not guarantee this.
