A BRONZE MEDAL COMMEMORATING QUEEN VICTORIA'S GOLDEN JUBILEE. A commemorative bronze medal celebrating Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1887, the obverse with Crowned and veiled bust l. 'Victoria Regina Et Imperatrix' the bust signed J.E.B. for J.E. Boehm. The reverse an enthroned figure of Empire flanked by many attendants and above shields for Asia, America, Europe, Australasia and Africa, signed F.L. for F. Leighton. This was the official Royal Mint issue for the Golden Jubilee. 77mm wide. Eimer 1733 BHM 3219. *CR: raised points somewhat polished. *BP 22.5% (18.75% plus VAT) plus a lot fee of £8 inc. VAT on each lot.
