A Meissen reticulated cabinet plate, 20th century, the well decorated with a floral spray, floral reserves to the border, gilt highlights throughout, under glazed crossed blue swords to the base, 24cm diameter; a similarly decorated pierced example, 23cm diameter; a further cabinet plate, the well decorated with courting couple, second quality, 22.5cm diameter; a florally encrusted shell basket, the handle modelled as entwined putti, 25.5cm wide, and a footed ink stand, 7cm high (5)
Provenance: Wykey House
All plates show fine surface wear commensurate with age and use, rubbing to gilt highlights and banding. No obvious damage nor signs of restoration.
The shell basket shows chips and nibbles to the floral encrustations. No other damage or signs of restoration.
The ink stand shows minor chips, discolouration to the top (please see photo).
