Jacobus de Rubeis, 1675, dedication and title leaves engraved by Pietro Aquila, 48 plates of Old Master engravings of Vatican frescoes (of 52), broad margins, inner top and bottom margins stained, yet never affecting in or near the image of the plates and growing fainter throughout, though the first two engraved leaves somewhat affected, no. 16 fore-margin with torn loss just touching within the plate, no. 29 loose and its edges tatty, contemporary Italian vellum over boards, worn, chipped and split, but holding, oblong folio (39 x 49.5cm)
