Pilch, North Walsham, a George III mahogany 'Norfolk' type 8 day painted dial longcase clock, the arched 12" dial with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, with song birds and floral basket within gilt scroll work decoration, the restored movement striking on a bell, the hood with columns and flared swan neck cornice, pendulum, two weights, key, 229cm.
Thomas Pilch is recorded in Baillie G. H.Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World as working in North Walsham circa 1780. With weights and pendulum.
