An Art Deco carved jadeite dress ring, circa 1900s, the cushion-shaped jade panel depicting a Chinese phoenix (fenghuang) amidst clouds, on a sub-translucent chrome green jade with white patches, in a claw-setting and webbed gallery between diamond-set shoulders, to a tapering flat shank, white metal struck with French dog head assay mark for platinum, and partially rubbed maker's mark, possibly Nochin Wisoune from Maison Wisoune, ring head 2.5 x 2.0 cm, ring size M½, total weight 8.2 grams. Accompanied by a report from the GCS, stating the stone is a natural jadeite with wax impregnation treatment.
