SPOUTED & HANDLED WET PHARMACY JAR. 8.25ins tall. Tin Glazed, hand decorated - blue oxide arches or false gadroons to shoulders, handle and base. Diamoran in gothic script (in black) below rear handle, spout to front. Italian, similar decoration attributed to Savona a seaport town in northern Italy, in Apothecary Jars by Rudolf Drey (nos 1991.0664.0648 through 1991.0664.0664). Roy Sherwin paper inside records Antik Apoth� Antwerp or Brugge Museum.
