*That of Fownes Luttrell

** John Fownes Luttrell (1752-1816), born in Dunster, resided & former owner of Dunster Castle, was a Tory Politician, MP for Minehead and sat in the House of Commons of Great Britain & The United Kingdom. Oldest son of Henry Fownes Luttrell (formally Henry Fownes, c.1722-1780). His mother Margaret, was the daughter of Alexander Luttrell (1705-1737), whom bequeathed his estates to Margaret on the condition that her husband take the surname Luttrell. John Fownes Luttrell married Mary Drewe on 2nd August 1782, they had 10 children in 11 years. Fownes Luttrell is buried in his hometown.
