A 16TH CENTURY FRENCH, OAK COFFER with hinged lid above carved freeze decorated with swags and mounted with two medallions, head of a woman and a gentlemans helmet with five panels to the front carved in bold relief with Christ and the Apostles John, James, Peter & Paul, separated by leaf carved pilasters, each surmounted by a saint.
