Railway. Modern Traction. A large collection of approx. 500 x 35mm, colour negatives, mostly in strips, from the late Steve Davies collection. The negatives were taken in the 1990's and feature a variety of diesel and electric locomotives of the "Sectorisation" era. There are repeat shots of the same locomotive(s) and several nameplate only photographs, most of the photos were taken at depots with the classic 3/4 front view. Locations include: Cardiff Canton, Doncaster, Longsight, Holbeck, Warrington, Crewe Station and Works, Tinsley, Knottingley, Thornaby, Ferrybridge and Worksop. Most/all of the negatives are captioned. Copyright will pass to the buyer. Sample illustrated.
