A late-Georgian mahogany moonphase longcase clock the eight-day duration movement striking the hours on a bell with the thirteen-inch break-arch brass dial having a raised silvered chapter ring engraved with black Roman numerals and Arabic five-minute outer numerals, the silvered centre with a subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, with cast-brass c-scroll corner spandrels, with a moonphase aperture to the arch showing the daily phases and date of the moon, the mahogany case having blind fretwork below the hood, with cast-brass capitals to the fluted trunk quarter-columns, a shaped top to the trunk door, fluted columns to the hood, a shaped panel to the base, surmounted by a swan-neck pediment with castellated centre and brass ball-and-spire finials, standing on bracket feet, height 223cm.
