HUNGARY: K?ROLY CSERNA (1867-1944), a circular bas-relief medallic portrait of a woman, her profile head to left, 108.5mm, on wooden mount (impressed signature on back), 180 x 135mm, much as made, VF. This item has been attributed to Kßroly Cserna on account of the two signatures - on the medal and mount. The cataloguers, however, cannot find any other medal by this prolific painter of Middle Eastern scenes.
