A small and unusual 'jewelled' trinket dish, circa 1885, of shield form, the cobalt ground with a gilt border with white and red jewelling on textured ground, the centre painted with an oval panel of a small dog beside a reeded lake, surrounded by a ribbon wreath, printed factory mark in green, painted 'A9341' in black, 11.3cm overall width Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection.
