Star Lot: An alluring pair of original Lawrence Marcuson (Scottish, b.1933) oil on board paintings featuring striking male portraits, one in profile with the other en face. Both intensely rendered in thick impasto brushstrokes with wonderful energy and movement throughout the compositions. Signed bottom right and housed in fine vintage frames. Marcuson has a good auction history with works fetching into the mid hundreds.
