Property of a deceased estate - a set of three early 20th century silver circular dishes, each with a repousse crest of the Worshipful Company of Ironmongers, each with engraved presentation inscription to reverse 'Henry J. Gardiner / JUNIOR WARDEN OF / THE / IRONMONGERS COMPANY / 1903-4', each 4.25ins. (10.8cms.) diameter, marks rubbed; together with a matching pair of slightly larger & heavier silver dishes with engraved date '1937', Birmingham 1936, 4.4ins. (11.2cms.) diameter; and a Continental silver sifting spoon, probably Scandinavian (total silver weight approximately 372 grams) (6).
