TWO FIRST AND SECOND WORLD WAR PAIRS TO A FATHER AND DAUGHTER. A Great War pair comprising War Medal and Victory Medal named to Pte G.S Gettings HAC INF and Second World War Defence and War Medal, unnamed as issued, attributed to his daughter 452462 Leading Aircraftswoman Margaret Helen Patricia Gettings WAAF who joined the WAAF in Gloucester after June 1941. Mounted for display with RAF cap badge, patches and dog tags. George Gettings also served as G/37351 with the Royal Sussex Regiment. With a collection of photographs including images of both recipients in uniform and in groups, ephemera, further buttons and other items. With copied research.
