Jumeau bisque socket head doll with jointed composition body, with fixed blue eyes, painted lashes, pierced ears, closed mouth, fair hair. Back of head marked in red DEPOSE TETE JUMEAU Bte SGDG 8 Hlll. Wearing period clothes- bloomers, multiple petticoats, dress, bonnet, shoes. Height 49cm
Small blemish to bisque at corner of left eye. Glue along hair line indicates crude repairs to hair, and cork pate is visible in places at back of head. No obvious evidence of restoration , no cracks or chips to bisque (not viewed under ultra violet light). Not possible to remove pate due to hair being securely glued
