Set with rich and vibrant rubies, believed to be Burma.
And bright and lively rose cut diamonds.
Verso a richly decorated hair work, set with diamond initials E.P. and a pearl set buckle.
The miniature monogrammed on the back RC.

Richard Cosway RA was a leading English portrait painter of the Georgian and Regency era, noted for his miniatures. He was a contemporary of John Smart, George Engleheart, William Wood, and Richard Crosse.
