Leather Covered Wooden Cartridge Box with provision for six packs of cartridges. Impressed officers name to lid "John Baines, Inniskilling Dragoons". Size 49cm x 30cm x 17cm. Leather securing strap. Research: Lieutenant John Baines was serving with 6th Inniskillings in Aldershot in 1871.
Some stitching has split at the corners on the lid. No key.
