VERY EARLY (DATED 1331) VELLUM DEED WITH PART ORIGINAL WAX SEAL REF. SUTTON BONNINGTON; Small 1331 vellum folded Deed (220x115mm excluding suspended seal; fits on an album page) with 30%-complete original circular red wax seal still attached; written in a fine hand in Latin (full transcript) apparently concerning land near "Bonyton" [Sutton Bonnington, Notts.] and sealed at the settlor's house "Apud Bonyton". With some Sutton Bonnington witnesses' names and dated "4th year of King Edward III" [=1331]. Fine deed from a very early date.
