A very fine and rare Dutch Delft blue and white bowl with grotesques in the style of Daniel Marot, dated 1720
Dia.: 30,5 cm - H.: 14,5 cm
The bowl signed AR on the base for Adriaan (van) Rijsselberg, De Grieksche A, 1701-1735.
This also coincides with the date of 1720.
On the inside we see a musician playing an instrument and a dancing jester or dwarf, possibly referring to Commedia dell'Arte figures.
