A GEORGE III NEEDLEWORK SAMPLER, the linen ground worked in cottons and silks, the geometric and floral border surrounding three lines of verse beginning 'All you my friends who now expect to see...', birds, crowns, trees, cherubs, vases of flowers, animals, etc, 'Charlotte Franck aged 10 1792', glazed and in a stained wood frame, sampler 48cm x 32cm (Condition report: there are a number of holes, mostly along the edges but particularly to the corners and bottom right hand side, the linen is aged stained and the whole work faded, some losses or loose threads)
