Nozeman & Sepp - Folio engraving of the Spotted Woodpecker 1770.

This beautiful engraving is of the Spotted Woodpecker (Picus medius) from Nederlandsche Vogelen by Cornelius Nozeman. Published in Amsterdam in 1770.

Size: measures approximately 14.5in x 20.5in (34cm x 49cm).

Very good with some foxing in the margins. The copper engraving is on strong, soft white, chain lined paper.
