IND COOPE ORIGINAL EARLY SHOWCARD. 25.7 x 34.6ins. Naturalistically coloured large size thick showcard featuring five different brewery scenes. This is a believed previously unseen very early example, featuring Britannia at top - thus post dates to Nov.1886, predating Jan. 1909. Kevan Witt provided an image of the later, 1923+ version (shown in the second image just for comparison). This item was found in the attic of a Lincolnshire public house during a clear out & would otherwise have been skipped. Overall main image extremely good condition, some minor, very outer edge, paper damage. A highly significant, superbly impressive, and rare, offering to excite any Breweriana buff or historian - probably the most important Brewery showcard BBR has ever offered?
